Rock The Stage Band Camp - Level 1

A 5-Day Summer Band Experience at Maryville Music Academy

Rock The Stage Band Camp is an exciting, hands-on music experience where students get to feel what it is really like to be part of a band. This camp is designed for vocalists, guitar players, bass players, drummers, keyboard players, and students who are ready to make music, build confidence, and have a blast with other young musicians.

Throughout the week, campers will be placed into a real band setting where they will work together to choose a band name, learn a song, rehearse as a group, and experience the energy of playing music with others. Our instructors guide students every step of the way, helping them grow musically while also learning teamwork, stage presence, confidence, and how to listen and respond as part of a band.

No experience? No problem. Rock The Stage Band Camp is open to all skill levels. Whether your child has been taking lessons for years or is just getting started, this camp gives them a fun and encouraging place to grow.

What Campers Will Experience

Students will spend the week learning how a band works from the inside out. They will rehearse together, work on timing and rhythm, learn how to follow cues, practice stage presence, and discover how each instrument plays an important role in the group. Vocalists will learn how to lead a song with confidence, instrumentalists will learn how to support the band, and everyone will learn how to work together toward one exciting goal.

Campers will also make new friends, build confidence, and create memories they will talk about long after camp is over.

Rock The Stage Performance Program is the next step for students who have completed Rock The Stage Band Camp and want to continue growing as performers. Rather than ending after one exciting week, students become part of an ongoing band that rehearses twice each month while continuing their private lessons at Maryville Music Academy.

This program allows musicians to continue playing with the same band members, expand their repertoire, strengthen their musicianship, and gain valuable live performance experience throughout the year.

Students continue learning what it takes to perform together as a polished band while developing confidence, leadership, communication, and professional rehearsal habits.

What Students Will Experience

Band members meet for structured rehearsals twice each month, where they continue learning new songs, refining existing performances, and preparing for upcoming concerts and community events. Students receive coaching on stage presence, audience engagement, transitions between songs, and how to perform with confidence as a complete band.

As they grow together, students learn to communicate musically, support one another on stage, and understand what it takes to perform at a higher level.

The friendships built during Band Camp continue to grow as students become part of an ongoing performance community.

The Rock The Stage Elite Performance Team is the highest level of our performance program. This group represents Maryville Music Academy at concerts, community events, festivals, special performances, and academy showcases.

Membership is earned through dedication, musicianship, leadership, reliability, and a positive attitude. Students selected for the Elite Performance Team have demonstrated a commitment to excellence both on and off the stage.

This is where talented young musicians become confident performers and role models for the next generation of Rock The Stage students.

What Students Will Experience

Elite members rehearse regularly while preparing for performances throughout the year. Students learn advanced performance techniques, stage professionalism, crowd engagement, and leadership skills while representing Maryville Music Academy in the community.

Members gain valuable real-world performance experience that prepares them for future opportunities in music, theatre, and the performing arts.

Beyond performing, Elite members help inspire younger musicians and demonstrate what can be achieved through dedication and hard work.

Sign-up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff seven days a week to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.

PRICING 

$40/30 minutes or $80/60 minutes. 

Lessons are available six days a week and scheduled once a week. A one-time registration fee is $25 (due only at the time of registration).
