About Maryville Music Academy

Our Mission

Maryville Music Academy was founded with a clear mission: to provide structured, high-level music education that builds confidence, discipline, creativity, and real-world performance ability.

We believe music education should be intentional, measurable, and inspiring — equipping students not only to play, but to lead.

Located in Maryville, Tennessee, our academy proudly serves students throughout Maryville, Blount County, Knox County, Sevier County, and East Tennessee — while also training students across the United States through our structured live virtual lesson program.

What Makes Us Different

Maryville Music Academy is built on structure, excellence, and opportunity.

We are proud to offer:

The Exclusive Musical Ladder System™
A structured advancement program that gives students visible progress markers and milestone recognition.

Integrated Practice Space™ Accountability
A system that helps students build consistent practice habits through tracking and rewards.

Performance-Driven Training
Students gain real stage experience through our annual Spring and Fall Concerts, the Voices of Hope Competition, and community showcases.

Artist Development & Recording Opportunities
Through Sound Chamber Records, students have access to professional recording, songwriting mentorship, and worldwide music release opportunities.

Whether students train in-person in Maryville or virtually from anywhere in the United States, they follow the same structured advancement system and academy standards.

We are not a typical music studio.
We are a comprehensive music academy designed for long-term growth.

Serving Our Community & Beyond

Maryville Music Academy proudly serves families throughout:

Blount County

In addition, our live virtual lesson program allows students across the United States to train with our elite instructors and participate in structured advancement from anywhere.

We are committed not only to musical excellence but also to community impact through the Estelle Martin Music Foundation, which provides scholarships and support to underserved children, foster youth, and military families.

Leadership

Maryville Music Academy was founded by Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Martin and co-founded by Tabitha Martin.

Together, they created an academy built on professional experience, structured systems, and a vision to develop musicians who are prepared for both stage and studio — whether training in Tennessee or across the nation.
