Whether you aspire to play the Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country, or Gospel, Maryville’s dedicated drum instructors will help you become the drummer you want to be. Our faculty will introduce you to the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. Definitely not. Our professional, soundproof drum lesson rooms in Maryville Music Academy are equipped with a Alesis drum kit for our students. Just bring your drum sticks and a notebook. Beginning students can practice at home with a drum pad and sticks for only $25.
Are there drum recitals?
Absolutely! Every year our students have the opportunity to perform. Unlike most of our competitors, we do not charge students a fee to perform. And admission is free, so you can invite all of your family and friends.
At each recital, we give our students the red carpet treatment with photo opportunities in front of our academy repeating background and an actual red carpet runway.
