Jeremy Rodriguez

Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Drum, and Voice Instructor

Jeremy Rodriguez is a musician, educator, and creative leader with decades of experience in music performance and teaching. Known for his deep bass voice, musical versatility, and steady leadership, Jeremy brings both artistry and discipline to every space he serves.

A licensed teacher and experienced band director, Jeremy has worked extensively with students at the middle and high school levels, guiding young musicians through both technical growth and personal development. His background includes classroom instruction, ensemble direction, and theatrical production, where his love of performance and storytelling naturally intersect with music education.

Jeremy’s excellence in teaching and leadership has been recognized at both the local and national levels. He was named Great American Teach-Off National Innovative Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2013, as well as Liberty High School Teacher of the Year that same year. He has also received the Frida J. Riley Teacher of the Year Award and was honored by the WV State Journal as part of its Generation Next: 40 Under 40, recognizing emerging leaders making a meaningful impact in their communities.

His approach to education is rooted in mentorship, consistency, and respect for the process. Jeremy believes strong musicianship is built through clear expectations, encouragement, and creating an environment where students feel supported as they stretch beyond their comfort zones. His theatrical background adds depth to his work, helping students understand not just how to play music, but how to perform with confidence, presence, and purpose.

As both an artist and educator, Jeremy values collaboration, community, and lifelong learning. Whether directing a band, mentoring students, or contributing creatively behind the scenes, he brings a calm, grounded presence and a deep commitment to helping others grow.
